"Lunchtime Lessons" with Chef Sarah Boyd (Chicken & Veggie Quinoa Bowls)
Join us Friday, February 16 for another "Lunchtime Lesson" and delightful lunch with the ever popular personal chef, Sarah Boyd! Sarah will teach us how to whip up delicious and healthy Chicken & Veggie Quinoa Bowls topped with an avocado chimichurri. Can be easily adapted for vegetarians! These bowls are the perfect lunch at home, a school lunch, or they can be taken to work. Sarah will end the meal with best peanut butter cookies you have ever had. A few unexpected ingredients in these cookies will take them to a new level. You will have an enjoyable hour and a half learning how to create these dishes, eat a tasty lunch & you will bring home the recipes to recreate the meal in your home!
Sarah Boyd grew up in a house where Dim Sum was Sunday Brunch and her birthday cake was a Mocha Pavlova. After college in British Columbia, she moved to Philadelphia and graduated at the top of her class from The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill College and started a private chef business. She had a weekly meal prep and delivery service, provided countless private dinners & events, and even taught a kids French cooking class. From there she was private chef for both the 76'ers Larry Brown and his family and the 76'ers point guard Eric Snow and his family. Sarah's exhuberant nature and wealth of experience will inspire you to create beautiful gourmet meals at home!
