Lunchtime Lesson - Plant-based Walnut Tacos with Rose Rodda
It's a good day when your lunch is both a demonstration and a meal of delightfully satisfying walnut tacos with fresh cashew cream and avocado cilantro lime sauce! We are so happy to introduce one of the kindest and infomative health experts to Caruccio's, Rose Rodda! She is a master of plant-based foods and never disappoints.
Rose will share with you some of the many wonderful ways that nuts can be incorporated to create a plant based meal that will leave you satisfied and asking for seconds! In this class Rose will create a savory seasoned walnut taco meat that even carnivores will love, topping it with fresh veggies of your choice. This will be paired with a delightful dairy-free cashew cream that Rose will show you how to prepare. Last but not least she with show you how to whip up a phenomenally fresh avocado, cilantro and lime sauce.
As a compliment to this delicious meal we will enjoy a fabulous fresh fruit cashew cheesecake.
**Rose Rodda grew up in the Pacific Northwest as the oldest of 6 kids from a big, busy family where dinners together were a nightly affair. Her mother, Patsy created the foundation for her love of creating meals from scratch. Rose began understanding the value of plant based meals several years ago and has made it her mission to create delicious and satisfying plant based meals that everyone will love. She is passionate about creating a fun and interactive environment where everyone feels welcome to ask questions and to try new meal ideas. She is extremely excited to come to Caruccio's demonstration kitchen and spend time with you!
