Cilantro Sisters present "Saffron & Sea Shells"

Please join us for an Indian themed dinner inspired by Pacific Northwest ingredients and flavors....

Crab Kashmiri: Dill Dungeness crab bharta served on parmesan crisps.

The Jungle Book: Farmer's market salad with fresh picked greens, seasonal fruit, vine ripe vegetables, and local cheeses tossed in a Tellicherry pepper with a poppy seed dressing.

Salmon Hariyali: Crispy rava fried Pacific salmon on a roasted hatch pepper cilantro pesto, topped with cucumber-yogurt raita.

Seafood Eshtew: Goan seafood stew with Penn Cove mussels, clams, shrimp and fresh catch cod in spicy sea salt broth served with rustic breads.

Risotto Memana: Creamy curry lamb risotto topped with earthy mushrooms and a basil-mint truffle oil drizzle.

Saffron Sunset: A sweet surprise ending served with an assortment of ripe berries.

This delicious dinner includes non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages will be sold separately.

The Cilantro Sisters are: Sutapa, Sumana and Aditi are friends that bonded over their love of food to create this sisterhood of chefs. Each of them brings to the table many years of experience dishing out their own brand of Indian food. Sutapa is founder of The Bengali Gourmet and has her own food blog and cookbook. Sumana is also a food blogger and visual artist who shares recipes on her blog called The Palette of Spices. Aditi is a connoisseur of fine Indian vegetarian food. She cultivates and sources ingredients from her own organic, sustainable food garden in Yakima. Each of these women also have successful careers in the sciences. Together they are a powerhouse of culinary creativity that is evident from the dishes they serve. This pop-up is their passion project to bring Contemporary Indian Cuisine to the Seattle dining scene.
